Motorcycle Matt Photography
Documenting my own long distance motorcycle riding adventures lead me to pick up a camera. Simple snap shots quickly turned into more. Being outside is awesome. Motorcycles and photography get me out there.

I participate in many aspects of motorcycle culture: sport touring, dual sport riding, single track enduro, road race track days, ice racing and more. Countless times I've found myself leaning around a corner, wheeling through a puddle, falling down a rocky ledge, or lowsiding in a spectacular fashion on a gravel road in the middle of nowhere. Each time one of these things happen I wish someone would have been there taking my picture. This is what I try to do for others. I've been there. My aim is to catch the cool moments, get that perfect hero shot and make people smile.
Photography is an interesting mix of art and technology. It's all fascinating to me. I geek out about photo gear just about as much as I geek out about talking about how a photo was made. I can talk about camera configuration or Lightroom workflow for hours. When there's an interesting landscape in front of me and the light is right I'll become useless to any other responsibility assigned to me. It must be consumed, acknowledged and photographed.
